HUE, Vietnam, June 29 (Xinhua) -- A troupe from China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region staged a traditional Chinese opera performance in the central Vietnamese city of Hue on Sunday.
Held at the Royal Theater inside the Imperial City of Hue, the event showcased a variety of Chinese opera styles and attracted an audience including Chinese and Vietnamese officials as well as local residents.
The performance included live music, traditional costumes, and scenes from various forms of Chinese opera.
The tour will continue in Ho Chi Minh City as part of efforts to strengthen cultural ties between China and Vietnam.
