CHINA-JETLINER C909-COMMERCIAL OPERATION-NINTH ANNIVERSARY (CN)

(250628) -- SHANGHAI, June 28, 2025 (Xinhua) -- A C909 jetliner lands at Con Dao Airport, Vietnam, April 19, 2025. Two C909 aircraft, wet leased by Chengdu Airlines to Vietnam's Vietjet Air, began service on April 19, 2025. Saturday marks the ninth anniversary of the commercial operation of China's domestically developed regional jetliner C909. So far, 166 C909 aircraft have been delivered, which have handled over 24 million passenger trips. (Xinhua)
