Vietnam's national assembly concludes ninth session

HANOI, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The 15th National Assembly of Vietnam concluded its ninth session on Friday, Vietnam News Agency reported.

Among adopted resolutions was a constitutional amendment that paves the way for a two-tier local government model effective July 1, 2025, the report said.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said the session demonstrated thorough preparation and strong consensus.
