HANOI, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed after a truck carrying soil overturned onto vehicles traveling in the opposite direction in Vietnam's northern province of Phu Tho on Thursday, the Vietnam News Agency reported.

The accident occurred at 7:45 a.m. in Lac Son commune when the truck flipped over onto a car and a motorbike, killing their drivers, according to the report.

Rescue workers and traffic police were deployed to the scene to carry out procedures in line with regulations.
