VIENTIANE, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Laos was moving forward its digital transformation by training civil servants and enhancing their digital skills through a project to establish a digital-human resources development center.
The project, set to run from 2025 to 2029, will help build a strong foundation for digital governance and improve public services, the Lao national TV reported on Wednesday.
It will involve creating a comprehensive training plan, developing educational materials, and providing training programs for civil servants.
The initiative was expected to accelerate Laos' digital transformation, establish a permanent training system for civil servants, and create a sustainable digital education environment for the government.
