Vietnam, Lithuania pledge to deepen bilateral ties

HANOI, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam and Lithuania signed multiple cooperation documents on Thursday during Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda's state visit to Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency reported.

During the visit, Nauseda talked with Vietnamese President Luong Cuong and both witnessed the signing of cooperation documents in the fields of agriculture, financial technology, artificial intelligence, and energy.

Both sides had agreed to further enhance people-to-people exchanges and promote bilateral trade and investment, the report added.

On the same day, Nauseda also talked with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam.
