Vietnam earns nearly 800 mln USD from coffee export in January 2025

HANOI, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam exported 154,635 tons of coffee in January 2025, earning 799.5 million U.S. dollars, according to the Vietnam Coffee-Cocoa Association.

Green coffee exports reached 137,568 tons, generating 694.9 million dollars, a 38.2 percent decline in volume, but an 8.8 percent increase in value compared to the same period last year, Vietnam News Agency reported Friday.

Processed coffee exports amounted to 17,067 toes, bringing in 104.6 million dollars, accounting for 11 percent of total volume and 13 percent of total export value.

Vietnam has set a coffee production target of 1.98 million tons in 2025, slightly higher than the previous year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
