The first-everSkodaSlavia facelift images seems to have unfurled on the internet, revealing this upcoming sedan without any camouflage. But there is a big catch. This Slavia facelift teaser has been posted by Skoda Nepal and not Skoda India. Is Skoda Slavia facelift launching in Nepal before India, despite being manufactured here? Lets check out the possibilities.

Slavia has been one of the most notable vehicles in the companys INDIA 2.0 strategy. It was coined based on the MQB A0 IN (India-specific) platform and is also exported to other nations like Nepal, Vietnam and more. Skoda Slavia is on the verge to get a facelift to boost its appeal and sales with multiple test mule sightings.
We had never seenSlavia faceliftwithout camouflage before and this is the first time we are seeing it in all its glory. Teased by Skoda Nepal, Slavia facelift undergoes a multitude of changes that could even position it as a new gen model rather than just a facelift. Thats because there are prominent sheet metal changes with this upcoming sedan.
Teased
There is a distinctly door shape unlike the smooth single-curve shape seen with current model. So, all of the sheet metal around these doors are new. We can see a new tail light design with what looks like stylish LED turn indicators, positioned below revised LED tail light signature. Reverse lights could be LEDs too.
SKODA lettering between tail lights seems to have gotten larger and we can see a few badges on tailgate too. Rear bumper is new with new reflectors and the chrome strip connecting these reflectors is gone now. There seems to be faux twin-exhaust-like design as well. We can see new alloy wheel design and a hint of what could be callipers for rear disc brakes.
Launch in Nepal first?
On the sides, there were pronounced character lines on current Slavia, which seems to be revised into one stronger line above door handles. While it is not revealed, one can expect a new fascia with revised elements to achieve a stronger and sportier appeal. We cant see any camera protrusions on ORVMs for 360-degree cameras, but could be present. There doesnt seem to be a panoramic sunroof too.
vs Current Model
Level-2 ADAS is one of the most notable expectations from this vehicle, further cementing its safety credentials. More features on the inside will make Skoda Slavia facelift a better proposition than what it currently is. The same 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI engines are likely to be carried over.
Skoda Slavia facelift will be manufactured at the companys facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra and not in Nepal. It is very interesting to see Skoda Nepal posting pictures of Slavia facelift before a launch in India. However, we are highly likely to get it first. Launch might happen sometime next year and it will improve Skodas position in the C+Sedan Segment.
