JAKARTA -- Two light attack aircraft crashed in Indonesia's East Java province on Thursday, killing all four people aboard, according to the Indonesian Air Force.

ISLAMABAD -- A soldier and four terrorists were killed in two separate clashes between security forces and the militants in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday, a military statement said.

One of the incidents happened on the outskirts of the provincial capital city of Peshawar, where the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on the reported presence of terrorists, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
