Dubai, 4th November, 2022 (WAM) -- A high-level delegation from the Consulate of Vietnam in Dubai has visited the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) to learn about its experience in promoting women's culture, protecting females from domestic violence and review the mechanisms of work adopted to assist women and children.
Sheikha Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, received the delegation led by Nguyen Lan Huong, Head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - Hanoi and Member of the Standing Committee of Hanoi Party Committee, along with members of the Vietnamese delegation.
Al Mansouri stressed that the foundation is keen to strengthen its cooperative ties with various entities, looking forward to learning about Dubai's extensive experience in promoting the rights of women and children.
She noted that the foundation takes a particular interest in expanding its network of partners to improve opportunities for exchanging knowledge with other public and entities with interest in this area.
During the visit, the foundation briefed the delegates on its background, goals, vision, mission, awareness campaigns and community initiatives, and the values based on which it operates. The visit was wrapped up with a tour of the Care and Rehabilitation Department.
For their part, the Vietnamese guests expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn about the foundation's work and crucial role in combating human trafficking crimes and assisting women and children. They also reaffirmed their desire to strengthen coordination between the two sides.
